About the episode

Josh Thomas is a trailblazer in the world of Australian Comedy who shot to international fame with his groundbreaking television series 'Please Like Me'. You might recognise him as the Gen Y team captain on Network 10's Talking Bout Your Generation or from his sell out comedy tours all around the world.  From the very start, Josh’s journey into comedy was anything but conventional. At just 17, he shocked the world by winning Australia's RAW Comedy Competition, setting the stage for a career filled with laughter, tears, and everything in between. But behind every punchline lies a story. and Josh holds nothing back in his chat with Jimmy & Nath as he recounts the early days of his career, complete with sceptism from his family and doubts about the stability of his chosen path. Josh talks about his struggles throughout his schooling and discovering how to overcome challenges he faced as an openly gay, autistic man with ADHD. Josh recounts stories of ending up at A-List Celebrity parties with guests such as Maya Rudolph, Kristen Wiig & John Mayer and shares how excited he is to be back home in Australia.  TUNE IN AND FIND OUT IF JOSH THOMAS WAS BORN FUNNY. See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
